AppCoins (APPC)

AppCoin is an open and distributed protocol for app stores based on Ethereum blockchain and uses ERC20 standard tokens. It looks to alleviate the challenges in the current app store system by allowing secure transactions within different app stores. AppCoin’s main goal is to: • Provide developers an efficient and transparent means to monetize their apps across app stores. • Provide users a trusted environment for discovering and buying apps. • Create a trustworthy, transparent and open app economy. Unlike Google Play Store that allows developers to keep 71% of their revenue, AppCoin allows them to keep 80%. The payments are remitted in real-time using smart contract systems that automatically share the revenue between the developer and the app store while sending the payments. It is designed for adoption by all mobile operating systems. Its protocol includes a Proof-of-attention system which allows users to receive tokens. This reassures advertisers that the users will view the ads while the users can use the token in the app store economy.
